A highly interesting brass mounted Saxon pickelhaube, small size skull. All the fittings are in brass, with its original chinstrap and its original non serrated national and Saxon State cockades. A superb battlefield pick-up, all leather pickelhaube, small size, a battle damaged shrapnel crease just to the left of the front plate. A very nice condition all leather pickelhaube being in an unusually large size. Both peaks securely attached to the main body, stitching has not rotted. A very nice condition large size field grey leutnant’s tunic for Prussian Infantry Regiment No.9. The tunic is in a nice slightly lighter shade of field grey.
