Blade with beautifully wavy hamon. 23 ½ inches or 60cm blade, complete with standard military fittings. The hilt binding is excellent, the ray skin below the binding is chipped in places, the gilt is slightly dull to the fittings. A scarce piece of uniform equipment for the Kriegsmarine are officers breeches in dark blue. The occasional images are seen of Kriegsmarine officers mainly land based wearing breeches. A mint unissued set of the olive drab canvas stick grenade carrying bags with their blue Luftwaffe style plastic zips, the runners complete with their original ties to the runners. The zips are marked ‘Ri-Ri’. Complete with their canvas connecting straps enabling the grenade bags to be hung around the neck.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY TAN AND WATER REVERSIBLE TO WHITE WINTER COMBAT PADDED JACKET.

A very well service worn tan and water camouflage combat jacket, various nicks to the cloth overall and many stitch repairs and small patches replaced. Complete with its original reversible to white hood. Normally these jackets are marked in a Roman numeral system of 1, 2 and 3, we cannot find any markings but we would estimate that the jacket is of a size Roman numeral II.  read more

JAPANESE WWII ARMY OFFICERS KATANA.

A very nice Japanese officers sword having a 26 ½ inch blade with a very attractive wavy hamon. There are no flaws, scratches or impediments of any type to the blade. The tang of the blade is signed with 7 characters, plus the Showa stamp. The hilt has very nice and attractive grip binding with undamaged ray skin below. JAPANESE TYPE 90 ARMY COMBAT HELMET.

An excellent finish to the exterior with the darker shade of paint that is normally encountered around the lower half of most Japanese combat helmets, with its complete interior liner, all of the three pads have their inner horsehair sections present, with its full webbing chinstrap. Very frail in one area. Kanji numbers to the inner rear skirt.  read more
