An extremely rare helmet being a WWI produced Austrian shell by the maker ‘Bruder Gottliebb & Braucher of Brunn’. Hundreds of these helmets were confiscated by the newly formed nation of Czechoslovakia at the end of WWI, refurbished with Czech liners and chin straps and then further confiscated by the Third Reich. The majority of a swastika cut, possibly from the tail of a German light aircraft, possibly the Fieseler Storch, the short take off and landing liaison aircraft. A very nice early model 33 mans dagger with blade by the maker of Solinger Axt-Und Hauerfabrik, the maker themselves are scarce. Good blade with much original cross grain finish remaining. GERMAN WWII SA MANS DAGGER WITH FULL ROHM INSCRIPTION.
A complete and original Ernst Rohm dagger, the blade unfortunately has had some abusing. To the lower part of the blade butting up to the lower grip mount there is evidence of corrosion, partly obscuring the early Eickhorn trademark. Both blade edges have been slightly sharpened. GERMAN WWII U-BOAT ESCAPE APPARATUS KNOWN AS THE TAUCHRETTE.
The Tauchrette is a Draeger designed escape vest, they were produced in the maroon colour and in tan by both Draeger and Auer, this is the tan example. It has seen storage wear.
