A virtually unworn condition army officers M.43 cap, constructed from the Italian material. Stamped size 56 to the untouched grey satin lining with its pure white half moon leather forehead sweatband. Double button front. Complete with its Bevo woven officers one-piece silver wire eagle and cockade. Some slight oxidisation to the silver officers cording to the crown.  read more

GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE SUMMER NETTING FLYING HELMET.

All complete with its earphones, its throat microphones, its long lead and jack plug for fitting to the aircraft. Nice light tan colour to the leather earpieces. Some slight damage to the net finish of the crown of the flying helmet. Complete with its technical label, which is maker coded ‘BXO’ with all other technical details printed to the label.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY SINGLE BUTTON M.43 CAP.

The single button versions of the M.43 cap are hard to find, this is a hugely service worn cap, stamped size 58 to the interior. Much grease around the forehead area and the upper crown. The nap to the cloth on the peak has worn down to zero through the constant removal of the cap from the wearer’s head. A fabulous condition 1940 dated MG34 Lafette mount, numbered ‘8550’. An unidentified triangular manufacturers mark. The Lafette mount has all its accessories including the spare bolt box and the mounts for the optic sight, the front pads are covered in canvas and the covering maybe a replacement.
