A highly unusual variant being the 1936 so-called Condor Legion Wound Badge with M.16 helmet to the front. The pin fixing on the reverse side is very similar to a broach type horizontal pin riveted to the body, both rivets are visible through the main field on the face side. read more

A rare piece of SS insignia being a lozenge shaped SS runes above the police insignia arm shield, introduced in February 1943, it was for assignment to the SS Head Office on police matters. The example shown on page 273 of Cloth Insignia of the SS. The embroidery style would appear to be of Italian manufacture on paper backing. read more
