A very clean SS model 33 early type dagger. Good cross grain finish remaining to the blade. Marked with the company’s logo of ‘E P & S, Solingen’. Some slight markings from the inner brass blade retaining bands from the scabbard. Marked Roman numeral II on the reverse of the lower cross guard. Postcard size, angled image of Tiger tank with a Commander in the turret wearing the black Panzer uniform. The reverse side not feldpost franked or stamped but partly addressed to the family ‘Pointner’ to a town in Germany, he appears to be saying this is my Tiger tank., describing it as the world’s most famous fighting vehicle. read more

GERMAN WWII GREY WAFFEN SS FEZ.
A nice condition SS grey fez, the rarer of the two different colour fezes to obtain is the combat version in field grey, worn by the Muslim volunteers of the SS with its totally original slightly degraded Bevo woven SS eagle and skull. Minor moth nips to the front of the fez with some more serious moth damage on the rear side. Complete with its long tassel and its original untouched sweatband. read more

An exceptionally nice blade marked ‘RZM M7/42’ the only markings to the blade are from the scabbard internal brass blade retaining bands. The wood grip is completely undamaged, matt finish to the national eagle, undamaged enamel to the SA inset. A nicely constructed DDAC car pennant measuring 38 x 21cm. The central logo is a machine woven oval, the insignia of the DDAC, overlaid with a crossed form of very finely machine crotchet black, red and white colours on a white field. Slight age staining. A nice example, size 56, of a 2nd pattern tropical visored field cap with its untouched Bevo woven blue on tan eagle and cockade, with the field adaptation of officers corded style piping to the crown and front scallop of the cap.
