The lightweight spun aluminium M.35 helmet being lightweight for officers parade. Much of the original apple green finish remaining, some slight losses as per our web images with three minor indentations to the crown, some paint loss to the rim. A now very difficult to find helmet being the M.16 style helmet, this originally being an Austrian helmet re-issued in the Third Reich period to a police unit. A scarce variation being much thinner and lighter than normally encountered examples. Finely detailed eagle in bronze, set against a darker and stippled background. Correct yellow embroidered Customs style eagle on the royal blue ribbon. Almost mint condition.  read more
