A good set of officers marching boots, leather uppers excellent, good finish remaining. The boots were never studded but still with their heel and toe cleats, one of the heel cleats is slightly loose, they appear to be size 9 English. Both canvas inner pullers present.  read more

15 letters sent to the family Schmidt from their son Richard Schmidt, feldpost number 28028C. The date range of the letters is from 1940 to 1943. Not translated, worthy of further research, a highly interesting group.  read more

GERMAN WWII I.G.FARBEN WORKERS PAPER GROUPING.

A very interesting grouping found in a French flea market recently, comprising the Vorlaufiger Fremdenpass, which is a temporary foreign workers passports. Al contained in a soldbuch pass holder with the silver embossed eagle and swastika to the face side with the word ‘Soldbuch’ below. GERMAN WWII TIGER TANK HANDWRITTEN POSTCARD.

Postcard size, angled image of Tiger tank with a Commander in the turret wearing the black Panzer uniform. The reverse side not feldpost franked or stamped but partly addressed to the family ‘Pointner’ to a town in Germany, he appears to be saying this is my Tiger tank., describing it as the world’s most famous fighting vehicle.  read more

A small format photograph, possibly removed from an album measuring 8.5cm x 6cm showing an army soldier in full combat gear carrying his MP40, one only MP40 trip0le pouch, map case, anti gas container with a helmet cover made out of plain material, held to the helmet with a rubber band. A print of an original painting of a three man motorcycle crew. One small tear 2cm long to the left hand side of the card. Dated ‘25th August 1940’ to an address in Germany. Fully written out with news by now of occupied France.  read more

GERMAN WWII GREY WAFFEN SS FEZ.

A nice condition SS grey fez, the rarer of the two different colour fezes to obtain is the combat version in field grey, worn by the Muslim volunteers of the SS with its totally original slightly degraded Bevo woven SS eagle and skull. Minor moth nips to the front of the fez with some more serious moth damage on the rear side. Complete with its long tassel and its original untouched sweatband.  read more

GERMAN WWII DDAC CAR PENNANT.

A nicely constructed DDAC car pennant measuring 38 x 21cm. The central logo is a machine woven oval, the insignia of the DDAC, overlaid with a crossed form of very finely machine crotchet black, red and white colours on a white field. Slight age staining. Complete with its mounting rod and one of its hanging clips.  read more
