GERMAN WWI ARRAS BATTLEFIELD PICK-UP M.16 HELMET.

An unusually small size G62 stamped M.16 helmet. Some traces of its original apple green finish remaining. The number ‘295’ applied in red paint to the inner rear skirt. GERMAN WWI DE-ACTIVATED LUGER PISTOL.

Maker marked crown over ‘ERFURT’ dated ‘1916’. Imperial acceptance stamps, some mismatched numbers. This pistol has been well used, the chequering on the wood grips have been worn flat in areas. Excellent blade, much bright finish remaining. The blade has not been abused in any manner. Maker marked ‘Alexander Koppel, Solingen’. Acceptance stamps on the flat back portion of the blade. Undamaged wood grips. Imperial acceptance stamp to the upper pommel. GERMAN WWI SOLDIERS GAS MASK.

The Gummi mask all complete with its lenses has solidified within the container. Marked at the base of the mask ‘A.G.D.12’. The filter is fully corroded and is possibly not from this mask. The container has been over painted, it still has one of its carrying straps, the upper inner lid has its container for spare lenses, the lenses are missing.  read more

A rather battered all brass and nickel bugle with the disc having the Prussian Guard coat of arms applied. Full maker stamped with the date ‘1916’ complete with its hanging tassels. One repaired hole in the base of the bugle.  read more

Nice condition Spider sight, numbered to the gun ‘4673’, these were acquired over 30 years ago by a collector when a small quantity of Turkish marked MG 08 machine guns were imported into the UK.  read more
