A rare sniper sight for the GEW98 rifle of WWI. Manufactured by Emil Busch of Rathenow. Marked to the sight ‘VISAR 4½ DRGM’ with gun number ‘6284’ stamped just below the adjustment wheel. A very nice example, some staining to the blade. The wood grip has five notches and eight stars engraved into the wood, the meaning of this is unknown to us.
