A superb condition all fibre bodied pickelhaube worn by a Police officer of the Bavarian State. To the interior the leather liner is in its original light coloured finish and is made by the company Erel and is complete with its inner artificial silk gold lining. A rare ersatz helmet from Bavaria of WWI being a size 57, which is large for a pickelhaube, enlisted mans helmet, constructed in a one-piece fibre.
