A very rare buckle of Saxon Regiment 108, this has probably been found dug and has been restored, the main brass body of the buckle in excellent condition, the nickel overlay plate having evidence of minor corrosion with a slight CRACK to the lower right hand side. A very nice condition large child’s size M.1910 field grey tunic. Swedish cuffs, piped in red. 1907 style shoulder boards piped in red with red piped collar and red piped front skirt to the tunic. GERMAN WWI ERSATZ BAYONET WITH FROG.

A very nice condition ersatz bayonet with at least 80% of its original field grey green paint finish remaining to the hilt and scabbard, with its original leather frog. The blade is excellent, not sharpened or reprofiled, with its Imperial German acceptance stamp on the flat back edge of the blade.

A good form to the headdress complete with its red, white and black Reich colour cockade in silk with its large Reichsmarine crown over anchor button. Gold silver bullion weave. A very good all field grey one-piece enlisted mans steel belt buckle, complete with its leather tab, which is marked to the Prussian Guard Corps and dated ‘1915’, the markings of ‘B.A.G.’ indicating Guards Depot, plus maker mark and ‘1916’ date.  read more
