A rather battered but scarce bugle to obtain from WWI being a Saxon regimental bugle. Saxon coat of arms to the top of the bugle. It would appear that the nickel rim has been added later. Leipzig maker marked. Complete with its multi coloured green and white cording with tassels.  read more

GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN ENLISTED MANS HELMET PLATE.

A standard all brass helmet plate for the Prussian pickelhaube. The staff that connects to the eagle on the left hand side of the helmet is complete but has split, this can be repaired if needed. Complete with both of its helmet fitting loops on the reverse side.  read more

One of the rarest buckles of the Imperial German Army of WWI for any of the major States or Principalities being the two piece brass and nickel buckle for Mecklenburg Strelitz. Very minor indentation to the central domed insignia. Complete with its double pronged belt fixing system.  read more

The very difficult to find Mecklenburg Schwerin all steel buckle, it has lost all of its paint finish, minor indentations to the central circlet. Complete with its double pronged belt fixing system.  read more

GERMAN WWI ALL TIN PRUSSIAN PICKELHAUBE.

A nice condition all tin Prussian enlisted mans pickelhaube, these were primarily made by the tin toy manufacturers. Excellent skull with just four minor indentations. One slight area of rust bleed around the crown of the Prussian plate and the very tip of the right hand wing of the Prussian plate itself. All brass finish, non removable spike. A nice EF62 camouflage helmet finished in a very unusual small block pattern without any separation lines, the camouflage is more obvious on the right hand side of the helmet and the front, there is some losses to the left hand side as the helmet is worn. GERMAN WWI SAXON ENLISTED MANS PICKELHAUBE.

A very clean condition Saxon pickelhaube with early brass fittings. Both national and State cockades are untouched, both are of the serrated style. The brown leather chinstrap is good and supple. The rear peak stitches are slightly loose to one side and the brass spine along with the spike base has some slight knocks. The leather skull is solid with very little cracking or wear to the finish.
