An interesting grouping of Turkish military artefacts on WWI. Turkish flag 75cm x 50cm, some light mothing, still with its narrow selvage edge, good depth of red to the flag. GERMAN WWI WOOD GRIPPED FIGHTING KNIFE.

Very good condition blade, complete with its original leather washer. Wood grips undamaged, fitted into its metal scabbard, which appears to have been restored. Slight indentation with a complete and undamaged leather belt loop and hilt retaining strap, with its male/female closure system working correctly but male section is fragile.

GERMAN WWI SWORD HANGER AND STRAP.

A scarce piece of Imperial German equipment being the white leather shoulder strap/sash for carrying a large side arm or sword. The strap has the large double pronged brass buckle, this is of the type worn by the Prussian Imperial Guard uniforms with their mitre caps.  read more

Mounted in Prussian style, Saxon bronze Friedrich August Military Medal in bronze 1906 to 1918, almost mint condition. Iron Cross 2nd class 1914, a good example in excellent condition, together with its matching ribbon bar with their miniature Iron Cross to the centre of the black and silver ribbon.  read more
