An excellent very long sword of the 1889 pattern. Extra detail to the 1889 pattern hilt, more than standard. Prussian eagle, stands of arms and flags to the upper cap area, also floriated to the inside of the bowl with the mirror image of the Prussian eagle on both sides of the bowl. A lovely condition all leather pickelhaube in superb order, both peaks securely attached to the main body, we consistently mention this in our descriptions of pickelhaubes, one of the problems of age is that the stitching holding the front and rear peaks do rot and the peaks come adrift.
