A very rare holster, the main body identical to a Luger PO8 holster but with added rear suspension system, both stitched and riveted to the main holster with a forward facing belt loop system for the mounted troops of the Reich Gendarmerie. An example of the F.Koeller & Company bayonet fighting knife. All steel hilt with faint traces of its field grey green finish remaining. Corrosion to the inner side of the grip. The bayonet retaining lug present and working correctly. The blade is full length, toned overall. Fitted into its original scabbard with leather belt loop missing. Some corrosion to the lower part of the scabbard.

GERMAN WWI GEWEHR 98 POUCHES.

A very nice mid tan mismatched pair of Gewehr 98 pouches, the standard ammunition pouches carried by the German soldier in WWI. All construction details are identical to both pouches, good white stitching, all pebbled leather, on the reverse side the rivet pattern is exactly the same and both have galvanised D rings, one is ‘Stuttgart 1917’ maker marked, the other is ‘1915’ maker marked and dated.  read more
