A nice condition size ‘55½’ pencil marked to the inside of the skull, all leather skull. Both peaks securely attached to the main body. An extremely nice Iron Cross 1st class, classic convex form, all of the black finish remaining to the iron centre, clear date of 1914. On the reverse side its original pin, hook and hinge all in place. 800 silver marked just above the pin retaining hook, the marking is obscured when the pin is fitted in place. read more

A very nice set of wartime stitch-in shoulder boards, subdued grey weave. The fleck on the exposed part of the shoulder board has subdued from blue to cream through sunlight, traces of the blue fleck can be seen in the hidden part of the shoulder board where it was protect by the shoulder of the tunic they were affixed to.
