A stored condition trench periscope of the tubular form 54 cm in length , original brown paint finish remaining, both mirrors present but suffering from age, slight corrosion where the tubular part of the periscope meets the wood handle that does have some woodworm.  read more

A well worn waist belt for the Sam Browne set, dated ‘1915’, maker marked, with its original cross strap. Accompanied by a ‘1914 H G & R’ marked ammunition pouch that does have some crazing to its skin.  read more

A mint unissued set for a French World War I soldier, comprising the collarless shirt with three button closure and a pair of the under trousers. All buttons appear to be present, slight storage staining, the only markings visible within the waistband of the under trousers.  read more

A fabulously rare very first pattern non magnetic British Brodie helmet of WWI, the rimless version, green painted with the internal oilskin tongued liner. FRENCH WWI ADRIAN INFANTRY ENLISTED MANS HELMET WITH ORIGINAL COVER.

Nice condition Adrian helmet in horizon blue retaining much of its original paint finish with some light chippings. An original owner’s initials hand inscribed into the inner rear skirt. Liner excellent. Fitted with a totally original helmet cover for the Adrian helmet, an original cover, which are extremely rare. Slight tearing to the cover on the front brim.  read more

BRITISH WWI SOMERSET LIGHT INFANTRY SOUVENIR HELMET.

A standard rimless WWI 1st pattern Brodie helmet, its liner is complete, the chinstrap is half complete. On either side of the helmet is fitted a SLI brass shoulder title, A cap badge of the Somerset Light Infantry fitted to the front,. We do not believe this to be a combat application but possibly the wearer’s souvenir and memories of his First World War service. An interesting Brodie helmet.  read more

BRITISH WWI SOLDIERS GAS MASK.

Excellent condition outer bag, broad arrow marked, stamped ‘Waring & Gillows 1918’. To the inner mask the canvas has solidified, all the head strapping present. The tube is good apart from one hole at the join to the filter. The rubber breather system has solidified and broken away from the face of the mask.
