BRITISWH WWI 1916 DATED NAVY WEBLEY HOLSTER.

A very nice condition hard but supple leather brown holster for the Webley Mark 6 revolver, marked ‘HGR 1916’ on one of the belt loops. The holster is constructed in the naval rivetted fashion with two separate numbers stamped inside the flap of ‘664’, which has been partially erased and ‘735’ indicating that this may have been an issue holster.  read more

An extremely rare artefact from World War I being the hood/tube gas hood in its original carrying bag. An extremely rare pair of the all rubber framed goggles commercially purchased by the British government After the first gas attacks and before the introduction of gas masks for use by soldiers with the simple mouth and nose cap, these goggles are all rubber framed have not solidified or cracked, which is quite a common affect with rubberised goggles.  read more

BRITISH WWI SOLDIERS ISSUE KIT BAG.

A typical example of the mid weight brown cotton canvas bag, which has some nice issued/makers stamps and clearly marked ‘1918’. Original user’s name ‘Sergeant Obee’ hand applied to the exterior. Remains of what appears to be a paper label on the base.  read more

A fine example of the ultra rare Welsh knife. Designed in 1916 by the sculptor Felix Joubert and patented by himself as a new or improved Welsh knife. It was based on the ancient Welsh weapon.
