An extremely rare pair of the all rubber framed goggles commercially purchased by the British government After the first gas attacks and before the introduction of gas masks for use by soldiers with the simple mouth and nose cap, these goggles are all rubber framed have not solidified or cracked, which is quite a common affect with rubberised goggles.  read more

A typical example of the mid weight brown cotton canvas bag, which has some nice issued/makers stamps and clearly marked ‘1918’. Original user’s name ‘Sergeant Obee’ hand applied to the exterior. Remains of what appears to be a paper label on the base.  read more

A fine example of the ultra rare Welsh knife. Designed in 1916 by the sculptor Felix Joubert and patented by himself as a new or improved Welsh knife. It was based on the ancient Welsh weapon. An unknown but limited number of Welsh knives were manufactured by the Wilkinson Sword Company, ordered by Lord Howard DeWalden. The 1907 bayonet with excellent blade, multiplicity of markings, wood grips undamaged with its 1914 pattern grained brown leather frog and matching helve stick holder, the leather holder marked ‘HGR 1915’. FRENCH WWI FIGHTING KNIFE.

A very nice example of the French WWI fighting knife. Excellent condition, the blade is marker marked, the knife known as the LE Vengeur. The wood handle is excellent. All steel parts very good. The blade has all its cross grain finish remaining. The scabbard is without any dents, still having much of its original blued finish remaining.
