A well worn set of Fernglas 08 binoculars, painted field grey with some losses to the finish, one slight chip to the left hand eyepiece. Excellent optics, marked ‘Fernglas 08’ plus the name of ‘Carl Zeiss Jena’, unusually with the date of ‘VII 1916’, with its black leather carrying strap.  read more

A nice clean set of the official pattern 1908 binoculars, painted in field grey with its brown leather strap, marked ‘Fernglas 08’ with issue number and the manufacturer ‘Goerz Berlin’.
