GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE M42 SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET.

A very nice condition raw edge model 42 combat helmet retaining virtually all of its original Luftwaffe blue paint finish with some slight surface rust areas. A beautiful condition greatcoat in the standard NSDAP brown, the nickname given to these political leaders were The Golden Pheasants. Winter padded version. Thick pale blue grey rayon quilted lining. Stamped with RB number, size ‘58’ which is large for a Hitler Youth cap. Dated ‘44’. Machine sewn ‘HJ’ Bevo woven diamond badge to the front of the cap. Some wear use evident.  read more

A possibly size 57 or 58 Luftwaffe officers overseas cap, standard Luftwaffe blue grey material. Silver piping to the full surrounding sides of the cap with its wire woven Luftwaffe eagle and swastika and wire woven cockade. To the interior the lining has shredded considerably as can be seen by our web images. It is difficult to find Luftwaffe officers overseas caps with wire insignia.  read more

The Luftwaffe tropical overseas caps were constructed in three different weights of the tropical material, thin, medium weight, and heavyweight.
