GERMAN WWII KUBAN SHIELD CITATION.

The A5 size citation with hand applied lettering to Gefreiter Johann Bouer of the 3./PZ.JAG.ABT.198. Field Marshall’s signature. Facsimile hand dated ‘1st Oktober 1944’. The unit was part of the 98th Infantry Division, which was destroyed when German forces were cut off in the Crimean Peninsular in 1944. Folded once, non punch holed.  read more

Awarded to Unteroffizier Helmut Zedernhofer, who was a member of 1./FS CH.PZ.-ART.RGT.Hermann Goering. Two award dates 30.5. to the 5.6.42, also 14.7.43, obviously he was wounded twice in this period and his award of the Wound Badge in black was combined into one award.
