The Tauchrette is a Draeger designed escape vest, they were produced in the maroon colour and in tan by both Draeger and Auer, this is the tan example. It has seen storage wear. A service used all aluminium buckle, marked in four places ‘RZM’ within a twin circle ‘SS’ within a circle ’36/39’ within a circle plus ‘OLC’ within a lozenge. The original belt to the buckle with both of its leather runners, its matching aluminium clip. The belt itself is impressed ‘RZM 954/20’ plus a further ink stamp ‘RZM’ within a circle. A very nice service worn condition, size 58 SS M.43 officers double button cap. The nap is generally good but slightly worn around the edges of the brim and the areas close to the one-piece eagle and skull Bevo woven insignia, also thinness of nap close to the edges of the silver waffenfarbe, which has oxidised in places. A profile view of Adolf Hitler constructed in base metal painted black and fitted to a period wood frame. The head measures 18 x 14cm, wood frame measures 28 x 23cm, with suspension facilities to the reverse side. Many of these patriot type busts were available for private purchase during the period of the Third Reich.  read more

A pair of black ski type trousers with single button flaps, very close in construction to the Hitler Youth boys ski trousers. Very narrow waist band, one zip side for a female fitting. Stitched creases, buckles at the base of the tapered legs. This female was quite tall. These could be used perfectly as the lower half of a panzer uniform, being less expensive than black panzer trousers.  read more

A very nice condition pair of the rare Nitsche & Gunther flyers goggles with the flexible bridge. Good clear non tinted lenses with minor markings.
