USA WWII LIGHTWEIGHT OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

The light tan officers visor cap worn in summer locations. Age discoloration to the sand colour but generally good with its large eagle headed badge with its correct chinstrap side buttons. The cap was never fitted with a sweatband and has an internal band made out of wickerwork for comfort. Possibly size 57.  read more

The cape known as the jungle cape issued to Indian troops and associated forces in South East Asia. An English Corporal’s name to the interior ‘Corporal Redman’ with ink obscured markings, overall service wear but no damage. Closure buttons present.  read more

The all leather binocular case in Russian brown, virtually identical in form to the German 6 x 30 binocular case, but rivets and fittings in classic Russian configuration. Complete with belt loop and side loops for the long neck strap, which is missing.  read more

BRITISH PRESS PHOTOGRAPHS OF MEMBERS OF THE AA

The photos show motorcycle patrols and are extremely clear sharp images in excellent condition. They have profuse typed notations to the rear. One reads “AA patrols of home defence duty”. The photo shows an AA box being modified by an AA member so they could be used for civil defence purposes. Parked next to the box is his motorbike which appears to have had camouflaged paint applied. An all black leather U.S. marked shoulder holster for the Colt 45 pistol. Missing its pistol holding strap and lower attachment strap. The shoulder rig has been personalised by the owner by the continuous wrapping of what appears to be electrical tape to strengthen the rig.  read more

The M.65 field jacket, modelled on the original M.43, complete with shoulder insignia, stitched shoulder boards, complete with its zipped in hood, ‘U.S.Army’ to the upper right pocket with the remains of its ‘Regular Xsmall’ label.
