Mid war type in olive drab canvas and brown leather. Karlsruhe maker’s stamp on the top leather rear section and repeated on one shoulder strap, the opposite strap appears to be a replacement. The Prussian and Bavarian telegraphers buckles were constructed in two versions, most commonly encountered in brass but rarely encountered in stamped steel, this Prussian example with virtually all of its original field grey paint visible with its correct double pronged belt fixing system on the reverse side.
