Shell stamped ‘ET64’ retaining at least 60% of its original apple green finish. All original rivets. Standard heavy thick leather liner band with its three original pads. GERMAN WWI M.18 HELMET.

The punch for the maker’s stamp is faint but the numbers for the shell size clearly ‘64’. The exterior shell has at least 50% of rust bleed with the remaining dark apple green finish all remaining. A good clean example of the scarce M 18 model trench helmet. The size stampings of the manufacturer rather lightly stamped, size numbers can be seen as 66, the exterior shell retaining at least 70% of its original apple green finish, with some light corrosion around the front brim, lower right side and the reverse skirt. GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN ENLISTED RANKS FELDMUTZE.

A very nice unissued condition size 57 Prussian mans feldmutze, the field grey material with only very minor moth tracking, good fluffy material. Red waffenfarbe to the crown and the wide red centre band. Fitted with the twin large size Prussian and national cockades. The hat is stamped size ‘57’ to the lower inner edge of the cotton lining material and also above the Koblenz makers name.  read more
