GERMAN WWI M18 TRENCH HELMET.

A good clean example of the scarce M 18 model trench helmet. The size stampings of the manufacturer rather lightly stamped, size numbers can be seen as 66, the exterior shell retaining at least 70% of its original apple green finish, with some light corrosion around the front brim, lower right side and the reverse skirt. GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN ENLISTED RANKS FELDMUTZE.

A very nice unissued condition size 57 Prussian mans feldmutze, the field grey material with only very minor moth tracking, good fluffy material. Red waffenfarbe to the crown and the wide red centre band. Fitted with the twin large size Prussian and national cockades. The hat is stamped size ‘57’ to the lower inner edge of the cotton lining material and also above the Koblenz makers name.  read more

Standard type, top metal section of the handling deeply stamped with maker’s name ‘Wartburg’. Some slight spots of very light pitting on blade otherwise good condition. Excellent brown leather carrier. A very good example.  read more

A small sized shell, corrosion around the interior skirt making it impossible to see the maker and size stamp. The exterior shell having the remains of its three-colour camouflage pattern in brown ochre and green. A rare enlisted man’s leather helmet of the Lieb Gendarmerie. Excellent leather skull, size approximately 55, all fittings matching in colour, clip over chin scales with square cup front peak. The interior liner virtually unworn condition, marked LG 15 ( Land Lothringen )to the interior skull area with both cockades present.  read more
