BRITISH PRE WWI ROYAL SCOTS ENLISTED RANKS GLENGARRY.

A lovely condition very late Victorian Glengarry cap worn by an enlisted man in the Royal Scots, complete with its tails. The interior has its original maker’s label ‘Thistle’ with paper size label ‘6 ¾’. No extra holes indicating that no other badge has ever been applied. This is a late Victorian cap indicated by the fact that it does not have the dicing introduced later.  read more

Late Victorian French chassepot bayonet, good blade, no markings on the flat section at the top end of the blade. Subdued brass hilt with its rifle retaining button working. Complete with its scabbard, which has no dents, some rust bleed to the finish.

GERMAN WWII SS TROPICAL SHORTS.

A rare piece of uniform being the SS tropical uniform trousers that have been cut down and worn as shorts. Many images can be seen of both army and SS men in the areas where shorts would have been worn, such as southern Italy and the Balkans, also the Greek islands. These have seen considerable wear but would make an excellent display for a mannequin, the seat area has been reinforced.  read more

One of the rarest buckles of the Imperial German Army of WWI for any of the major States or Principalities being the two piece brass and nickel buckle for Mecklenburg Strelitz. Very minor indentation to the central domed insignia. Complete with its double pronged belt fixing system.  read more
