GERMAN WWI ERSATZ BAYONET WITH FROG.
A very nice condition ersatz bayonet with at least 80% of its original field grey green paint finish remaining to the hilt and scabbard, with its original leather frog. The blade is excellent, not sharpened or reprofiled, with its Imperial German acceptance stamp on the flat back edge of the blade.

GERMAN WWII UNUSUAL HAMBURG TINNY.
A nicely constructed in aluminium oval shaped tinny with the engraved lettering 'Meine Erste' over an art deco style eagle with large block capitals 'TAT'. Below the eagle 'Gau Hamburg' with the date 1936/37. Maker marked 'Karl Will Hamburg' on the revere side, with its tinny type construction. We cannot remember coming across a tinny such as this in the past. read more

A very hard to find combination of the aluminium one-piece stamped buckle for the Kriegsmarine. Marked 'R S & S' on the reverse side. Wear to the breast of the eagle and approximately 50% of the original gilt left on the exterior. Virtually all of the gilt to the interior is still in place. A scarce title as worn by the Hampshire Regiment on D-Day, they were one of the first units ashore and they wore a title, which was produced to the regiment at the regiments own costs, which reads THE HAMPSHIRE REGIMENT. Yellow embroidery on black wool backing. Stitches remain where removed from a battledress. read more
