BRITISH WWII - TELLING A FRIEND MAY MEAN TELLING THE ENEMY - POSTER.

A rare survivor of WWII, an image showing four pairs of friends talking, measuring 76cm x 50cm, printed 1942. Considerable damage and staining, at present protected by plastic, many splits, nevertheless a rare poster. It appears that there are two versions of this poster, one in the top left hand corner showing a Royal Navy man talking with a female, our example shows an RAF man.  read more

BRITISH WWI COMPASS.

A cylindrical case measuring 9.5cm, the lid of which resembles the base of a shell case but has no markings. On opening the lid it reveals a very nice quality compass face, very nicely engineered to the edges of the lid and the upper edge of the case. At first glance it appears to be trench art but in fact would be a fully operational compass.  read more

GERMAN WWII RARE SS ARM EAGLE.

An ultra rare Bevo woven arm eagle in a rust brown colour, identical in colour to the smaller cap eagles used on the autumn side of the camouflage SS caps. Good Bevo weave, some light staining to the right hand wingtip and discoloration to the lower part of the black field. This is cut from roll.
