GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS PITH HELMET.

A nice condition pith helmet in the olive drab felt over cork, green leather trim to the edge of the helmet, with its original strap. Both metallic armed forces decals. The interior sweatband is in light tan in excellent condition, maker marked ‘JHS’ marked size ‘55’ and dated ‘1942’. Some stitches from the tan sweatband loose on the inner fibre carrying band.  read more

GERMAN WWII SUBMARINE COMBAT CLASP.

A good example of the scarce Submarine Combat Clasp, this is the type 2 award with the flat back. The majority of the bronze finish remaining with slight loss to the tip of the left hand set of leaves also on the hull of the submarine, with its correct tapering fluted pin. Fully maker and designer marked on the reverse side, the maker being ‘Schwerin, Berlin’.  read more
