An excellent very long sword of the 1889 pattern. Extra detail to the 1889 pattern hilt, more than standard. Prussian eagle, stands of arms and flags to the upper cap area, also floriated to the inside of the bowl with the mirror image of the Prussian eagle on both sides of the bowl. BRITISH WWII GENERAL POST OFFICE BRODIE HELMET.

Nice condition Brodie helmet having the three drilled holes through the brim indicating non combat quality. Stencilled ‘GPO’ which has crazed somewhat within the paint. The fibre liner is dated ‘1940’ with size ‘7’. The remainder of the liner is complete with its webbing elasticated Brodie pattern chinstrap and original drawstring.  read more
