GERMAN WWII IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS.

A good early non maker marked example retaining all its original finish. Flat construction, in its early type box, which at one stage had a silvered outline of the Iron Cross to the exterior lid, which unfortunately has been erased, also the push button opening catch has been removed. A large circular 15mm circumference medallion for the Reich Agricultural Association. Traces of light oxidisation to the award on both sides but much original gilt remaining. In its original titled box with very faintly gilt blocked to the lid, which reads ‘EHRENPREISMUNZE DES REICHSNAHRSTANDES’.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY M.40 SINGLE DECAL CAMOUFLAGE HELMET.

A barn find example of an M.40 combat helmet, raised rust to the interior rim, which has obliterated any size stampings, faint stamping to the leather liner size ‘56’. To the exterior a rather subdued green and brown camouflage finish. The outline of the army decal is below the paint. The interior lining retains some original good colour.
