The tunic is constructed in NCO’s quality field grey green cloth with stitch-in shoulder boards of an artillery NCO with red wool piping, Company slip-on numbers of ‘33’ to each shoulder board. GERMAN WWII KUBAN SHIELD CITATION.
The A5 size citation with hand applied lettering to Gefreiter Johann Bouer of the 3./PZ.JAG.ABT.198. Field Marshall’s signature. Facsimile hand dated ‘1st Oktober 1944’. The unit was part of the 98th Infantry Division, which was destroyed when German forces were cut off in the Crimean Peninsular in 1944. Folded once, non punch holed. read more
