A set of possibly 6 x 30 magnification French made binoculars that have ‘British Out of Service’ stamps. Optics need cleaning, the body to the binoculars is good with its original neck strap. BRITISH/CANADIAN WWI CANADIAN STIFF TOP CAP.

A rare hat from WWI being the stiff top cap, Montreal maker inside, Canadian stamped ‘1917’ dated size 6 ¾ Some light moth to the rear of the cap, the crown is virtually free of moth, slightly discoloured, with its original Canada bronze badge, its Canadian side buttons and its original correct size narrow leather chinstrap with twin buckles. BRITISH WWI ARTILLERY AND MOUNTED ENLISTED RANKS BOOTS.

A fine pair of the scarce lace up issued artillery and mountain troops riding boots. Stitching loose to the back seam on the right hand boot, both closure leather tabs and buckles present at the top of each boot, some minor distortion to the leather in the foot section, all of the metallic hooks are present with one exception to the left hand boot.  read more

BRITISH WWI COMPASS.

A cylindrical case measuring 9.5cm, the lid of which resembles the base of a shell case but has no markings. On opening the lid it reveals a very nice quality compass face, very nicely engineered to the edges of the lid and the upper edge of the case. At first glance it appears to be trench art but in fact would be a fully operational compass.  read more

Dated ‘1891’ over 300 pages of dress regulations of the Infantry, both in parade mode and combat. Fitted into its nice leather cover, gold embossed American eagle with gold embossed lettering. It would appear to have a Spanish inscription to the front page.  read more
