A terrific time warp helmet recovered from the battlefield of the Balkans , Adrian helmet of large size with battle damage to the surface, rust only, obviously hit by the shockwave of shrapnel the helmet has split to the right hand side of the badge, the liner is missing and has laid in soft sand for many years. A very nice white top naval cap, all blue body with white removable top, the top is in the ribbed material. Some minor rust staining and discoloration but generally excellent. FRENCH WWI ARTILLERY MANS BREECHES.

An extremely nice set of horizon blue breeches for an artillery enlisted man. Red piped to each side of the breech. Nicely dated ‘1918’, maker marked to the cotton lining. Good nap to the cloth. French clothing invariably was nearly or totally destroyed by moth damage from the conditions they have been kept in, fortunately this has very minor moth nips around the crotch area. A very nice condition 2nd pattern Brodie combat helmet from WWI. Rough sand finish, all paint remaining. To the interior the oilskin liner excellent, stamped size ‘7’ to the internal strap. The large rectangular red ink stamping of ‘Brodie Steel Helmet, War Officer Pattern’ to the inside of the oilskin. Minor moth damage to the upper inner crown felt pad.
