A very nice quality Luftwaffe Observers Badge, toning to the high spots of the silvered wreath, much of the original silvered finish remaining in the lower field. GERMAN WWII M.40 SINGLE DECAL LUFTWAFFE COMBAT HELMET.

Unusually the shell is unmarked on this small size helmet, we estimate the shell size to be 62, it retains most of its original finish with slight rust bleed at the rear of the skull. The Luftwaffe decal is slightly subdued but good and clear with one scratch to the right hand wing. The original liner is intact, but the tips of every tongue appear to have been burnt off.
