In World War I the German Army drivers caps were produced in black oilskin and field grey Oilskin, they are both rare, with the field grey version the hardest of two to obtain, invariably they are missing their chinstraps. This very rare example of the field grey double buckle strap in excellent condition, strap can also fit the 1915 Universal Field Cap, 29.5 cm hole to hole.  read more

The rare combination bayonet fighting knife manufactured by the Company Koeller, some examples are maker stamping, this is one of the unmarked examples. Good blade, full length, no abuse to the blade with one small chip close to the tip. The grip has raised corrosion on the interior and the tip of the pommel. BRITISH POST WWII HMS AMETHYST CAP TALLY.

The cap tally from the British naval warship HMS Amethyst, the Amethyst was a Black Swan class sloop, which was on duty in China on the Yangtze River in 1949, fired on by Chinese Communist forces and blockaded on the river for months the story of the subsequent escape of the Amethyst is legend, a book and subsequent film made of the incident.  read more
