GERMAN FINNISH KNIFE.
A standard small hunting knife measuring 18cm in length, fitted into its hand made aluminium scabbard, this was quite common on the northern front in Finland by German soldiers. The scabbard is made out crashed aircraft parts, beautifully starred with swastikas and what appears to be the names of the villages, the date ‘17th October 41’ with its own reverse side belt loop.
