A very good set of service worn jack boots, good form, soft and supple leather. All original steel nails to the sole with both steel toe and heel cleats intact. Nicely marked ‘size 27 ½ 6. 43. 307’. Unusually the two inner tabs that help pull the boot on have been replaced by two non contemporary leather pulls, the two canvas pulls on the outside of both boots are intact. No field repairs. GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN CANVAS OVER CORK PICKELHAUBE.

A very nice relic of WWI being the rare cork pickelhaube covered in field grey field grey canvas in four sections. Front and back peaks securely attached to the main body. GERMAN WWI GEWEHR 98 POUCHES.

A very nice mid tan mismatched pair of Gewehr 98 pouches, the standard ammunition pouches carried by the German soldier in WWI. All construction details are identical to both pouches, good white stitching, all pebbled leather, on the reverse side the rivet pattern is exactly the same and both have galvanised D rings, one is ‘Stuttgart 1917’ maker marked, the other is ‘1915’ maker marked and dated.  read more
