An extremely nice condition 1847 pattern belt buckle being the larger and squarer example than the later 1895. Nickel centre, brass base having the scroll ‘Gott Mitt Uns and unusually still with a small section of its original leather tab. The old collectors number still affixed to the rear of the buckle.
