GERMAN WWII ENLISTED RANKS JACK BOOTS.

A very good set of service worn jack boots, good form, soft and supple leather. All original steel nails to the sole with both steel toe and heel cleats intact. Nicely marked ‘size 27 ½ 6. 43. 307’. Unusually the two inner tabs that help pull the boot on have been replaced by two non contemporary leather pulls, the two canvas pulls on the outside of both boots are intact. No field repairs. An absolutely mint condition set of leather breeches in brown 36 inch waist, complete with their original factory tag. Two open pockets, these could be used for aviators or any mounted personnel, possibly for the NSKK or even the Luftwaffe.  read more

GERMAN WWII AFRIKAKORPS 2ND PATTERN TRANSITIONAL M.41 FIELD CAP.

A quite unique example of the M.41 field cap being one of the very first of the 2nd pattern caps produced with the inner sweatband but still having the soutache in place, after production orders were issued for the soutache to be removed, we believe this was a white piped cap for army flak. Retaining all of its bronze finish. The medal is fitted with the standard plain blue ribbon, which appears to have been period applied, the correct ribbon for this award should have the Customs style yellow embroidered eagle to the centre of the blue watered silk ribbon.  read more
