A superb Type 3 RJT Officers sword. A Gendaito Shin-Gunto 1944 model katana blade 67.7cm long and beautiful condition. Signed Noshu Ju KaneToshi with star stamp, dated 1943. Stunning hamon, Interestingly, on close inspection, the whole sword (scabbard & hilt) have at one time been painted completely black, This is a sign that the sword has been used for night raids.
