Pictured on page 480 of Belt Buckles and Brocades of the Third Reich by John R. Angolia, this very rare mint condition buckle with superb gilt. ‘Assmann’ marked on the reverse side. All the silvering to the central octagonal logo good with frosted highlighted swastika. One keeper fitted. A very rare but known and documented variant example.  read more

A profile view of Adolf Hitler constructed in base metal painted black and fitted to a period wood frame. The head measures 18 x 14cm, wood frame measures 28 x 23cm, with suspension facilities to the reverse side. Many of these patriot type busts were available for private purchase during the period of the Third Reich.  read more
