GERMAN WWII ARMY SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET.

A good M.40 large Q66 size shell retaining much of its original field grey finish with slight rust bleed to the crown and other areas. The army decal has slight rust bleed to the left hand side but the decal is otherwise virtually complete, with its original untouched liner, the leather has become thin on the one inner edge. Slightly spotted blade, good clear Eickhorn trademark, deep orange grip, which has one repaired crack to the upper part. Matching colour to all three major parts being the upper pommel, lower ring, cross guard and scabbard.

A rare cap being the officers version of the M.41 tropical field cap. Silver piping around the lower side of the cap. The insignia fitted is the standard Kriegsmarine gold on tan backing, however the gold weave, although not as bright as normal officers, it is brighter than the standard Bevo weave insignia for the enlisted mans cap. A nice condition good size, possibly 57 although not size stamped, standard junior naval officers floppy dark blue visor cap. Classic shape for a navy officer. No moth to the upper body of the cap. A good example of the 2nd pattern tropical tunic, without pocket pleats. Standard five button front. Fitted with a set of slip-on transport continental shoulder boards of a Hauptfeldwebel, the light blue waffenfarbe has faded down to virtually an infantry white. GERMAN WWII RAD MANS HEWER.

Generally a very nice blade, very slight scratch marks to the cutting edge but no worn upper edges with a good deep ‘Arbeit Adelt’ etched logo. On the reverse side the triangular RADJ insignia ‘Ges Gesch’ with the makers mark of ‘Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen’ with the individual number ‘1137’. Two individual pieces of unused Party headed paper, one headed National Socialist Arbeit Partie from Kries Rendsburg, the other in different font from the overseas organisation known as The Auslands Organisation to the heading from their address in Rotterdam, Holland. GERMAN WWII BOOT KNIFE.

The blade is full length but has been reprofiled. Waffen amt stamp clearly marked in the upper flat portion of the blade. Wood grips undamaged but with the initials ‘PA’ incised into the wood. Complete with its original excellent condition boot clip sprung loaded scabbard with all original paint finish remaining.
