A size EF64 shell, this helmet was only ever issued with a single decal, it has been ordnance over-finished. Good amount of the original paintwork present. A very good SE64 shell size with a size 57 liner Luftwaffe single decal M.40 combat helmet. One minor abrasion to the right hand wing of the eagle. Good colour of the rough sand finish Luftwaffe blue grey paintwork. Minor losses to the heads of the three liner retaining rivet heads. This is a scarce badge as is the metallic version. Fine light grey weave on a lighter shade of Luftwaffe blue grey backing. One slight moth nip to the upper left hand wing of the eagle. Very minor traces of paper backing where this has at one stage been glued to a collectors display board.  read more
