Generally good condition, the exterior has lost a lot of its bronze finish. Maker marked on the reverse side by ‘Schwerin Berlin’. The hinge and pin are complete, the retaining hook is broken.  read more

GERMAN WWII POLICE 18 YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL IN GILT ON CARD.

An interesting artefact being the highly gilded Police 18 year Long Service Medal on the remaining piece of a Steinhauer & Luck display board with the medal description written in English, these boards were original WWII medals put together for souvenir hunting allied troops at the end of the war. This example is without its police embroidered ribbon.  read more
