These dagger are susceptible to cracking of the pommel and cross guard and loss of finish. This example is superb, complete with its RLB starburst badge. Slight loss of enamel to the letter ‘B’ in the insignia. All the black finish remaining to the scabbard with age lines showing through from the steel below the surface. The wood grip is absolutely perfect, no cracks, minor indentations. Complete with its lower hanger and sprung loaded Assmann and DRGM marked sprung loaded clip. A very good example.
