GERMAN WWII MP44 MAGAZINE POUCH.

The ultra rare left hand pouch as the pouches were worn for the MP44 assault rifle. All brown leather loops, good strong stitching, no rodent damage. Markings on the brown belt loops on the reverse side very faint. D ring present. The brown leather small pouch flap in smooth leather having a male/female pop stud fixing, which does not appear to be operable. The stitching each side of the closure lids are good and strong. It can be seen across the front of the pouch stitch marks where the pouch canvas as been reused from other elements of equipment, as described on pages 101, 102 and 103 of Ausrustung volume 1 by Roly Pickering, on the brown leather closure loops old stitch marks can be seen again where these straps have also been repurposed.
