GERMAN WWII SS ENLISTED MANS KEPI.
A fine example of the rare Allgemeine kepi. Non size marked but approximately size 55 or 56. Standard black wool cloth construction, correct Allgemeine SS chinstrap with central rectangular buckle. Fitted with a set of M.29 eagle and jawless skull. No moth anywhere. Twin air vents to either side of the kepi. Grey leather sweatband, which is marked ‘Roger Kagert K.G. Berlin W’. The remainder of the interior in a grey satin lining with a complete centre celluloid lozenge, marked in silver block ‘Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent’, when the lozenge was fitted the official Bevo style RZM issue label was placed underneath the lozenge and is stitched in place. A rare piece of Allgemeine SS headdress.
