GERMAN WWII LOCOMOTIVE DRIVERS CAP.

A highly unusual cap from the Third Reich period, having a Reichsbahn Blue Body with a leather crown which is very professionally and beautifully attached to the body. Twin air vents on either side of the cap. The cap is of a small size, it is with the ersatz type substitute leather sweatband with light blue brushed cotton interior lining. Evidence to the inner crown of wear use, One slight moth damage at the very rear of the cap. The indication of the gold tress and the gold cord indicate a higher rank of locomotive driver.
