GREEK WWI TWO VERY SCARCE HELMETS OF WWI.

Two very scarce helmets of WWI, both from the Greek Army. France supplied Greece with Adrian helmets, the Greeks supplied their own badges and any Greek helmet is scarce. Thee two helmets recently found in a basement of a police station in Thessaloniki, they found their way into the hands of a local collector, who is a customer of Regimentals and subsequently we are the owners of these helmets. Two different size Adrians, one huge and one medium. Both helmets have evidence of long term storage, dryness in the leather, both of the liners are identical in construction and both have an unusual green stripe 17mm in width at the base of each skull, the reasoning for this strip we have no idea. However, Greek helmets are previously stated are rare, we wish to sell these both together.
